The manual way

Start at the directory number and follow every hop by hand:

• Check the DN and its call forward settings. A Forward All might point at a hunt pilot.
• The hunt pilot points at a hunt list, which points at one or more line groups.
• Each line group has member DNs, and each of those can have its own forwards.
• A forward or translation pattern can route the call to Unity Connection.
• In Unity, a call handler has caller-input keys that transfer to other DNs or mailboxes.

Now do that for the whole dial plan, and keep the diagram current as things change. That is the part nobody has time for.

The faster way
